Progress Dept.: The Prez Does His Duty

Now if we can just get the idiocy of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" buried, too.

Can you imagine Bush Junior making this video? Even with Cheney's daughter looming behind him it would never have happened. 

I have a lot of issues with the Obama Administration. At least on the heinousness of this one very important societal ill we very much agree. This is definitely progress.

Maybe this video by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton influenced Obama to make the gesture. Good for her!
