Jenny Gates AKA 'Evion' is an anthro-anime artist who produces quite a few manimales. Her work is an odd mixture of too cute and unusual transformations.
The most interesting work she has done is devoted to her own versions of illustrations for a Trading Card RPG of H. G. Wells' The Island of Doctor Moreau, a work that deals with vivisection and subjects unwillingly changed into mixed-animal abominations by the quintessentially mad doctor. Gates' art is far too tamed and docile to really address the gruesome source material. Shucks.
