While searching for a good image to start the Daily Manimal feature, I found the fine work of Terry Broxton.
Broxton is an artist who does commissioned art pieces of superheroes and manimal characters created by his clients. Most are sketches, but for an investment of a chunk of change you can get a quality piece that is inked and colored or, if you do pencil work, have him fill in the figure and background for you.
Lots of artist's on Deviant Art do this as well as trade projects and collaborate with other artists. Deviant Art is a Godsend for artists these days. The artistic community has never been as creatively galvanized as it is now that the internet has revolutionized communications and applications. 'Tis a good thing.
