Welcome To The Best Man/Beast Mixes On This Plane!

Coming in 2019: The Return of Mythulinity!

Now that Tumblr has determined the real world of varied sexuality no longer exists, I've decided to head out in a different direction and prove them wrong. It was fun while it lasted and all things must pass. I am now passing on Tumblr and reigniting the flame that once burned bright here at Blogger. Join me!

Here's the goal for our greater good: To share the best material from multiple online sources plus super manimal/mythical and real male images.

Superhero Sunday: Tarzan Style 1935

Don't ask me how Tarzan got to Mexico in 1935, but he had one thing going for him: being played by the perfectly cast, Herman Brix (AKA Bruce Bennett). To my mind there is no better Tarzan actor. No not even Johnny Weissmuller. Though Weissmuller really had the Tarzan yell down. The one Brix does sounds like he's yelling "Come and Get it!"

And that is not a digital lion Brix is wrestling.

Serial episodes are interesting in how they resolve cliffhangers and how long the ramp up to the cliffhanger transpires. It seems like Brix is taking forever to get free from where he's tied up. These days three explosions, two car chases and a murder would have happened in that amount of time.

Still, this is better than just a relic of film history if only to see evidence that men were super fit and hot back then, too.
